Sustainable Eden Prairie is an ongoing effort focusing on education and implementation of sustainable practices to protect the environment and natural resources our community enjoys.
Building upon the success of the 20-40-15 initiative, the City is leading by example and providing a foundation for residents and businesses to carry out sustainable practices in four areas — energy, landscape, waste and water.

Help promote youth literacy while refreshing your bookshelf!
Bring gently used children’s and young adult books to swap and discover new favorites to take home. No donation is required — bring books, take books or both! Please only take or bring what you can reasonably carry.
Accepted Items
- Gently used books in good condition (clean, binding intact, no missing pages)
- All genres
- Paperbacks and hardcovers
- A limited number of adult books, based on available space and demand
Not Accepted
- Torn, water-damaged, moldy or heavily marked books
- Magazines, textbooks older than 10 years, workbooks
- DVDs, CDs, games or non-book items
