Now is the Time to Stop Zebra Mussels
Make sure your docks and watercraft are clean, drained and dry to prevent the spread of zebra mussels.

Right now fewer than 2% of Minnesota lakes have zebra mussel infestations.
Once in the lake, there is nothing we can do to prevent them from spreading, and there is no treatment.
Help stop the spread by checking for invasive species when removing your docks and watercraft this fall and make sure they are clean, drained and dry before moving to another lake.
