Sustainable Eden Prairie is an ongoing effort focusing on education and implementation of sustainable practices to protect the environment and natural resources our community enjoys.
Building upon the success of the 20-40-15 initiative, the City is leading by example and providing a foundation for residents and businesses to carry out sustainable practices in four areas — energy, landscape, waste and water.

Get Your Home Ready for Winter
Make sure your home is ready for winter to lower energy costs.
Winter is just around the corner. To make sure your household heating is as efficient as possible to save on energy costs, consider scheduling a Home Energy Squad® visit to evaluate your heating system, insulation and check for air leaks.
The State of Minnesota also offers an Energy Assistance Program for income-qualified households to help pay for energy and water bills, as well as the Minnesota Weatherization Program, which assists households with home improvements to lower energy costs.
