Although the City’s police officers and firefighters are typically found investigating crimes, attending to medical emergencies or putting out fires, on Tuesday, May 3, several of them had a particularly tough assignment: judging a dessert bar tasting contest at Valley View Cooperative, a senior housing development.

Although it is traditional for police and fire personnel to judge the annual contest, this is the first time it’s happened in nearly three years due to the pandemic. The officers and firefighters were delighted to renew this tradition!
