In March, Officer Juliette Glynn began working as the department’s community liaison officer, a newly created position designed to combine investigative duties with community liaison work. Officer Glynn spends approximately half of her time investigating adult protection reports and the other half serving as a liaison to the senior community and to community and cultural events.
Among other duties, in the past two months Officer Glynn has collected medications at National Drug Take Back Day, helped a local Girl Scout troop earn their “respect authority” badge, judged a dessert bar contest at a senior housing complex and shared ice cream treats with kids and adults at an apartment building.
Officer Glynn was hired at the EPPD in 2020 after serving as a community service officer in Eden Prairie and as an officer in Crystal.
