Be a Good Neighbor: City Code Reminders
Post Date:06/11/2025
Please keep the following in mind as you enjoy the summer:
If your address ends with an odd number, you must water your lawn on odd-numbered days of the month. If your address ends in an even number, water on even-numbered days. No lawn watering is allowed between noon and 5 p.m.
Lawn vegetation must be kept to a height of 10 inches or less.
Dogs and other pets must be on a leash 6 feet in length or shorter when they are off their owner's property. Pick up after your dog and toss pet waste in the garbage. Learn more at edenprairie.org/DogsOfEP.
Power equipment such as lawn mowers, weed trimmers and chain saws must be used between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
All unlicensed, unregistered or inoperable motor vehicles must be parked in a garage; furniture, appliances and household furnishings also must be stored indoors.
Disposing leaves, grass or tree limbs is not permitted in any street, right of way, sidewalk, pond, wetland or other public property; keep stormwater drains clear of debris to prevent pollution and street flooding.
