Last week Kelsey Hoffman started as the EPPD’s newest dispatcher.
Kelsey grew up in Chanhassen and worked as a dispatcher for the Carver County Sheriff’s Office for three years prior to joining Eden Prairie.
The City of Eden Prairie is fortunate to have our own 911 Dispatch Center where emergency and non-emergency calls are answered 24/7. In 2022, our dispatchers answered 43,363 calls ranging from burglary alarms to vehicle crashes to fires.
Our dispatchers know our officers and firefighters, as well the city itself — its infrastructure, streets, parks, shopping areas, schools, etc. — and as a result are able to provide customized service to people who call 911. We’re happy to have Kelsey join our ranks!
