Last Saturday morning EPPD Dispatch received a call of an injured owl near Highway 101.

Officer Hunter Fricke found the owl on the side of the road with a possible head injury. He used a blanket to gently and safely capture the owl, then brought it to the University of Minnesota’s Raptor Center where the owl is receiving medical attention.
