Support for Burnsville
The City of Burnsville is facing an unspeakable loss following the tragic line-of-duty deaths of Officer Paul Elmstrand, Officer Matthew Ruge and Firefighter/Paramedic Adam Finseth last weekend. Our hearts are with them as they mourn and attempt to process this terrible event. If you would like to offer support to the families of the fallen, please direct monetary contributions to Law Enforcement Labor Services, which is the only contribution site verified on behalf of the families. If you would like to make a non-monetary contribution as a show of support, you may bring items to the Prince of Peace Church Mission Outpost Donation Center at 13801 Fairview Drive in Burnsville. Visit their website to learn more about the types of items needed.
Next Wednesday, Feb. 28 the public memorial service is taking place at Grace Church in Eden Prairie. The City is working closely with the various agencies involved in planning this event and will provide more details early next week on what our residents can expect regarding traffic and road closures.
