Today Chief Matt Sackett administered the oath of office to the department’s three newest officers: Serena Haglin, Isaiah Scarborough and Noah Mills.

Throughout college, she worked as a Community Service Officer for the City of Howard Lake. She then began working as a part-time Community Service Officer for EPPD in September of 2022. In her spare time, Officer Haglin enjoys spending time outdoors, trying different craft projects, and hanging out with family and friends.
Officer Scarborough graduated from North Branch High School and Alexandria Technical College where he earned his AAS in law enforcement. He spent the past year working part-time for the Centennial Lakes Police Department as a Community Service Officer. Officer Scarborough plays amateur league town ball baseball for the North Branch Nighthawks in his free time, along with golf and hockey.
Officer Mills graduated from Montevideo High School and earned an associates of applied science degree in law enforcement from Alexandria Technical and Community College. In his free time, Officer Mills enjoys training and competing in powerlifting.
Officers Haglin, Scarborough and Mills will spend the next 3-4 months in the department’s field training program before patrolling on their own.
