Starting Thursday, Nov. 21, Eden Prairie’s City Center, Community Center and Senior Center will serve as drop sites for Toys for Tots through Dec. 11.
Look for the Toys for Tots logo near the front desks of each building to make your donation.
Toys for Tots accepts new, unwrapped toys and games for kids at locations throughout the Twin Cities (they cannot accept clothing, food or liquid products).
Officers and a couple of Police Department robots will also be collecting toys at Eden Prairie Center Saturday, Nov. 30 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Center Court near Von Maur. Stop by with a toy to donate and say hi!
Law enforcement has unique relationship with Toys for Tots. Each year employees from law enforcement agencies all over the Twin Cities collect toys and load them into squad cars for a procession to the KARE 11 studios in Golden Valley where the toys are unloaded and eventually distributed to children who would otherwise not receive a holiday gift.
