Last Saturday, Eden Prairie Police officers and firefighters took part in a special event called Holidays with Heroes.

They partnered with 14 children for an afternoon of shopping at Eden Prairie Center mall followed by lunch out.

This is the 10th year the Police and Fire departments have hosted the event. The same generous benefactor has funded the event every year through the Eden Prairie Crime Prevention Fund. In addition, Scheels made a generous donation of gift cards and Mario’s Pizza donated some of the food.

The EPPD thanks the Eden Prairie Crime Prevention Fund for the opportunity to celebrate the holidays with kids in our community.
