Jason Hunt

On Jan. 1, Officer Jason Hunt will begin his three-year assignment as the department’s community liaison officer, a position held by Officer Juliette Glynn for the last three years.

The role combines investigative duties with community liaison work, dedicating half of the time to investigating adult protection reports and the other half serving as a liaison to the senior community and to community and cultural events.

Officer Hunt grew up in Eden Prairie and graduated from Eden Prairie High School. He began his career at the EPPD serving as a volunteer reserve officer. In 2011, he began working as a community service officer and in 2013 he was hired as a sworn officer. During his tenure in Eden Prairie, Officer Hunt has worked as a patrol officer, field training officer, retail crime unit officer, instructor and member of the Domestic Abuse Response Team.

If you see Officer Hunt working out in the community, please say hi!
