A trail improvement project at Richard T. Anderson Conservation Area (RTA) is scheduled through May 2026.

The park is closed to the public during this project.

Project Information

A stone retaining wall is being built along the north side of the paved trail to stabilize the hillside and help prevent erosion that could pose safety concerns for trail users. The project will also include new plantings and habitat restoration to enhance the area around the wall.

Park Closure

For everyone's safety:

• Do not visit the park until construction is complete
• Both the lower and upper parking lots are closed; any vehicles parked in the vicinity will be towed at the owner’s expense
• Respect all “trail closed” signs and barricades; trespassing or interfering with construction can result in fines
