May is National Bike Month and there are a variety of ways to celebrate! 

Sunday, May 4: National Ride a Bike Day
Grab your favorite two-wheeled ride and enjoy one of the many beautiful trails around the area. Find Hennepin County bike routes here.

Wednesday, May 7: Walk, Bike and Roll to School Day
Students and families are encouraged to bike or walk to school. Remember to wear a helmet!

Friday, May 9: Principles of Bike Safety Webinar
Join Commuter Services and Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota from 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. to get the basics of bike safety and a brief overview of free biking commuting resources. Learn more and register.

May 12–18: Bike to Work Week
This week-long event encourages biking to and from work, culminating in Bike-to-Work Day May 16. 

Thursday, May 15: Bike Month Celebration
It’s a party in the park! Join Commuter Services and the City of Eden Prairie from 4–6 p.m. at Round Lake Park for a special bike event featuring fun for all ages. Get event details.

Friday, May 16: Bike to Work Day
Commit to riding your bike to work or try public transportation or carpooling to reduce your impact on the environment.
