Fit for Summer Member Appreciation

Fitness in the Parks

Summer Entertainment Series Kicks Off June 8

The annual Minnesota Festival of Jazz on the Prairie event is Sunday, June 8 from noon to 7 p.m. at Staring Lake Park (14800 Pioneer Trail), kicking off the summer concert season with an afternoon of big-band jazz accompanied by the Eden Prairie Noon Rotary's Rib Fest fundraiser. The following week KidStock performances begin at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 17 with Heart and Soul Drum Academy, and Starring at Staring concerts kick off at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 6 with Church of Cash. All summer concerts are performed on the Staring Lake Amphitheatre stage, and food and refreshments are available for purchase; bring a lawn chair or blanket. Stop the Trafficking 5K

Registration is open for the Stop the Trafficking 5K Walk/Run for Justice at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14 at Purgatory Creek Park. The virtual 5K event option is June 14–22. A team comprised of representatives from the Police Department, local churches, businesses and the City’s Human Rights and Diversity Commission are working together to plan this event in cooperation with local anti-trafficking organizations. Their common goal is to join together as a community, raise awareness and engage in the fight to stop the trafficking. Learn more and register at StopTheTraffickingRun.org/2025.

2024 Drinking Water Report

The City provides results of drinking water monitoring to advance consumer confidence and highlight the need to protect water resources. Drinking water monitoring from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024, revealed Eden Prairie drinking water met or exceeded federal standards. A complete report is available at edenprairie.org/DrinkingWater.
