As released Monday, Aug. 25, the Eden Prairie Police Department transferred the investigation of the Aug. 21 hit-and-run incident that injured a mother and her children to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Today, a search warrant was made public that acknowledges the State Patrol is investigating an individual who volunteers as a public safety chaplain in Eden Prairie.

The individual named in the search warrant is currently not volunteering pending the outcome of the investigation.
