Citywide Open House

Get an up-close and personal look at what it takes to operate a city of nearly 65,000 residents and 3,000 businesses. Come to the City Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 and explore public safety and maintenance equipment, watch a demonstration and enjoy refreshments.

Community Photo Contest Voting

The finalists have been chosen in the City's 2025 community photo contest, and the public can now cast their votes by "liking" their favorites on the City's Facebook page. The top three photos with the most “likes” by noon Wednesday, Oct. 1 will win first, second and third place. Winners will be announced on the City's social media accounts. Vote for your favorites now!

Coffee with a Cop

Join Police Chief Matt Sackett and other EPPD officers for the next "Coffee with a Cop" gathering from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1. There is no agenda or presentation — just stop by Caribou Coffee (inside Lunds & Byerlys) at 970 Prairie Center Drive and enjoy free coffee, tea and treats courtesy of the Eden Prairie Crime Prevention Fund and Caribou Coffee.

Each year the City's liquor operation conducts a customer experience survey to solicit feedback about how we're doing and what we can improve on. Please take a moment to share your thoughts with us by completing the brief survey before Friday, Oct. 3.

Badminton at Round Lake Park

Three new badminton courts have been added to Round Lake Park between the two hockey rinks. No equipment? No problem. Everything you need to play badminton is available to check out for free at the Community Center through the Park and Play program. Learn more at edenprairie.org/ParkAndPlay.

Sport Court Lighting at Miller Park

Evenings just got a little brighter at Miller Park. The  basketball, pickleball and tennis courts are now officially lit for extended play.

  • The City Council meets at 5:30 p.m. for a workshop in the Heritage Rooms prior to its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7 in the Council Chambers
  • The Flying Cloud Airport Advisory Commission meets at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9 in the City Center Heritage Rooms
