City Holiday Gift Ideas
The City of Eden Prairie offers nostalgic keepsakes such as retired street signs and historical books, as well as gift cards for Eden Prairie Liquor and recreation activities.
Holidays with Heroes
Last Saturday, Eden Prairie police officers and firefighters took part in a special Holidays with Heroes event by partnering with 11 children for an afternoon of shopping at Eden Prairie Center followed by lunch.
This is the 11th year the Police and Fire Departments have hosted the event. The same generous benefactor has funded the event every year through the Eden Prairie Crime Prevention Fund. In addition, Scheels donated Ferris wheel rides and Mario’s Pizza donated food.
Recycle Holiday Lights
Help the environment by recycling your old holiday lights at any Eden Prairie Liquor location now through Jan. 9, 2026.
Reduce Salt Use
Help protect Eden Prairie’s water resources by using salt sparingly and following these tips:
- Shovel thoroughly before salting
- Scatter salt widely
- Use sand when the temperature is below 15 degrees
- Collect and reuse any undissolved salt
