Deer Management in Eden Prairie

Eden Prairie’s annual deer management program is underway and continues through March at multiple sites throughout the City, typically beginning at dusk and into the evening when deer are most active.

Housing Loans Available to Qualified Eden Prairie Residents

The Housing and Community Services Division offers zero-interest, deferred and forgivable loans to qualified residents.

Senior Emergency Repair Program — Forgivable loans up to $7,500 are available to qualifying residents ages 60 or older, who are owner-occupants of homes in need of emergency repairs. Funds can be used for repairs to water heaters, furnaces and central air conditioning units, or accessibility upgrades such as grab bars and handrails. Learn more at edenprairiemn.gov/SeniorRepair.

Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program — Zero-interest, deferred loans up to $15,000 are available to qualifying low and moderate-income households to maintain, repair and improve Eden Prairie homes. Funds can be used for new roofs, siding, windows, electrical, plumbing, heating and insulation. Apply for 2026 rehab loans after Jan. 1. Learn more at edenprairiemn.gov/RehabLoans.

Save on Winter Energy Bills

As the weather gets colder, consider ways to improve your home's energy-efficiency and save money, such as scheduling a Home Energy Squad visit. This program is available to Xcel Energy or CenterPoint Energy customers to learn how to save money on energy bills. The team installs needed materials, inspects heating and cooling systems, and identifies ways to improve efficiencies.
