Words in Action Contest Closes Soon

Eden Prairie K-12 students can enter the 2026 Black History Month Words in Action Contest through Tuesday, Jan. 20. Winners will be recognized at the Feb. 10 City Council meeting and featured on the City's website and social media platforms. Cash prizes are made possible through the generous support of the Eden Prairie Community Foundation. Learn more and apply at edenprairiemn.gov/WordsInAction.

State of the City Luncheon

The 2026 State of the City Luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22 at the Eden Prairie Schools Valley View Property (11840 Valley View Road). This annual Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce event is open to all members of the community and includes updates from the Chamber president, Eden Prairie Schools superintendent and City manager. Ash Tree Removals

City staff are marking infested ash trees that have been infected with Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) on public and private property, and tree removals will continue throughout the winter. Property owners can take advantage of a Citywide bulk discount through 2026 to treat eligible ash trees. Learn more about EAB and treatment options at edenprairiemn.gov/EAB.

Pickleball Clinics

Learn the basics of pickleball at one of the City's upcoming Pickleball Clinics. Learn how to play in a fun, friendly, no-pressure environment. Click "Register" at edenprairiemn.gov/Pickleball to sign up.

Eden Prairie Liquor Rewards Program Updates

Eden Prairie Liquor is enhancing its popular Rewards program with more deals and more ways to earn points throughout the year. Starting Feb. 1, members will:

  • Earn double points on select products every month — look for the green labels in-store
  • Earn double or triple points on all purchases during bonus point events throughout the year
  • Receive member-only invites to special product releases
  • Get exclusive coupons and deals at select times throughout the year

To support these benefits, Rewards members will earn one point for every $1 spent and get $10 off for every 500 points earned. Remember, all points earned in 2025 must be redeemed by Jan. 31, 2026. Learn more at edenprairiemn.gov/EPLRewards.

Holiday Hours

City Center is closed Monday, Jan. 19 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Hours for other City facilities are available at edenprairiemn.gov/Calendar.
