Staff News

We’re saddened to share the passing of Wendy Schmitz, who served the City for 38 years and was the welcoming voice and face of City Hall. For many residents, Wendy was the first person they met or spoke with — always greeting people with kindness, patience and a genuine smile. She had a way of making people feel comfortable and cared for, whether she was helping with a question, directing someone to the right place or simply saying hello. We are grateful for Wendy’s many years of service and the kindness she showed to so many in our community, she will be greatly missed. Learn more about Wendy.
