The City invites high school juniors and seniors who live in Eden Prairie to apply for the Students on Commissions program.

This program offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community while gaining firsthand experience in local government.

Student representatives serve on City commissions from September through May. It’s an effective way to build leadership skills, engage with civic leaders and gain insight into municipal government.

Students can apply to serve on one of the following commissions:

• Flying Cloud Airport
• Heritage Preservation
• Human Rights and Diversity
• Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources
• Sustainability
