Party for Pride, a celebration of movement, wellness and the LGBTQIA+ community, is from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 20 at the Staring Lake Park Amphitheatre. Eden Prairie Players Summer Musical Opens Next Weekend

Eden Prairie Players presents "Legally Blonde The Musical" beginning Saturday, June 20. The performances are free, but donations are accepted. Shows are scheduled at 7 p.m. June 20–21 and 2 p.m. June 21 (ASL-interpreted performance) at the Eden Prairie High School Auditorium (17185 Valley View Road). Seating in the auditorium is limited and free advance ticket reservations are required. Outdoor performances take place at 7 p.m. June 25–28 at the Staring Lake Park Amphitheatre.

Summer City Code Reminders

Please keep the following in mind as you enjoy the summer:

• No lawn watering is allowed between noon and 5 p.m. If your address ends with an odd number, you must only water your lawn on odd-numbered days of the month. If your address ends in an even number, you must only water your lawn on even-numbered days of the month.
• Lawn vegetation must be kept to a height of 10 inches or less.
• Disposing leaves, grass or tree limbs is not permitted in any street, right of way, sidewalk, pond, wetland or other public property; keep stormwater drains clear of debris to prevent pollution and street flooding.
• Store trash, recycling and yard waste containers at least 20 feet from property lines. Containers in front yards must be screened from view with fencing or landscaping.
  Set containers curbside no earlier than 24 hours before pickup and remove them within 24 hours after pickup.
• Dogs and other pets must be on a leash 6 feet in length or shorter when they are off their owner's property; pick up after your dog and toss pet waste in the garbage. Learn more at edenprairiemn.gov/DogsOfEP.
• Power equipment such as lawn mowers, weed trimmers and chain saws may only be used between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
• All unlicensed, unregistered or inoperable motor vehicles must be parked in a garage; furniture, appliances and household furnishings also must be stored indoors.

Multifamily Recycling Grants

Hennepin County offers grants for multifamily properties to start or improve recycling or organics recycling, reduce contamination, prevent waste, and educate their residents on recycling and waste prevention. Areas of focus can include purchasing bins and compostable bags, paying for hauling costs, expanding waste enclosures or retrofitting chutes, managing or preventing the waste of bulky items, and educating residents. Public Works Updates

The City is rehabilitating approximately 3,700 feet of aging watermain in two areas this summer:

• Quebec Circle, Vancouver Road, Ontario Boulevard and Manitoba Road
• Along Flying Cloud Drive between Regional Center Drive and Prairie Center Drive

Crews will use a cured-in-place pipe repair method, a trenchless rehabilitation process that reduces disturbance to adjacent properties compared to traditional open-cut pipe replacement. Temporary closures and detours may occur in both areas during construction. Construction is anticipated to be completed by early fall 2026. Learn more at edenprairiemn.gov/InfrastructureProjects.
