Last night, four EPPD officers teamed up with a non-profit organization called “Let’s Go Fishing!” to take 20 Eden Prairie kids fishing on Lake Riley.

In the two hours they were on the water, the two boats hauled in (and released) around 180 fish.

The event was a great opportunity for our officers to connect with kids on a beautiful summer night. The EPPD would like to thank Scheels for their generous donation of fishing rods and reels for the kids.

We always appreciate the opportunity to partner with community organizations like Let’s Go Fishing and hope to do it again next summer!
