Aug. 11 Primary In-Person Direct-Ballot Early Voting

In-person direct-ballot "early voting" for the Tuesday, Aug. 11 State Primary started today. Voters can place absentee ballots directly into a tabulator instead of into an envelope. Early voting is available Monday through Friday at City Center during business hours through Monday, Aug. 10. Voting is also available at City Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8. Jackson Blake Bringing Stanley Cup to Community Center

Eden Prairie native and Carolina Hurricanes forward Jackson Blake is bringing the Stanley Cup to the Community Center from 10 a.m to noon, Thursday, July 30. Don’t miss your chance to see Jackson and the Stanley Cup in person and get a photo with both.

Summer Entertainment Continues

Eden Prairie's summer arts and entertainment series features free, family-friendly music and movie events through August at Staring Lake Park Amphitheatre. View the schedule at edenprairiemn.gov/Entertainment.

Eden Prairie Lions Annual Corn Feed

Join the Eden Prairie Lions Club at its annual Corn Feed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1 at Round Lake Park. Proceeds from the fundraiser support local community projects including Camp Eden Wood, local high school scholarships, PROP Food Shelf, Prop Shop and more.

Police Department Updates

  • This year's Eden Prairie Night to Unite celebration is Tuesday, Aug. 4. It's an opportunity to come together, meet your neighbors and grow the sense of community we have here in Eden Prairie. Learn more and register your neighborhood gathering at edenprairiemngov/NightToUnite.
  • The City's annual Safety Camp is jointly hosted by the Police, Fire and Parks and Recreation Departments in June. This year there were 90 campers who, among many other activities, met K-9 Jax, watched a drone demonstration and participated in a bike safety rodeo.
  • In June, 14 Eden Prairie residents ages 15–19 participated in the department’s second annual Youth Citizens Academy. Participants solved a crime using Crime Scene Tech Unit tools, checked motorist speeds with a speed laser, conducted a mock traffic stop and performed building searches with the SWAT team, among other activities.
