Last night, the City of Eden Prairie celebrated another successful Night to Unite, with 153 neighborhoods hosting block parties across the community. 

As part of this annual tradition, we once again invited residents to support PROP (People Reaching Out to People) through a community food drive. As always, Eden Prairie residents stepped up in a big way, donating an incredible 9,104 pounds of food and $160 in cash. Thank you to everyone who generously contributed to this important community resource! 

To add a little friendly competition, neighborhoods that donated more than 200 pounds of food were entered into a drawing to win an ice cream social hosted by the Eden Prairie Police and Fire Departments. Congratulations to this year's winner, the Fairway Drive neighborhood, which collected an impressive 282 pounds of food!

Thank you to everyone who welcomed us to your celebrations, shared snacks with us and took time to visit throughout the evening. Your hospitality helped make the night even more special.

A special thank you also goes to the Eden Prairie Crime Prevention Fund, the Eden Prairie Fire Auxiliary, Buca di Beppo in Eden Prairie and Jonny Pops for providing food for the kick-off dinner for our employees and volunteers.
