Eden Prairie Schools is hosting a second cohort of its Citizens in Our Schools program this fall. Over the course of eight themed sessions across six months, participants will join a small cohort of community members for an in-depth look at how the school district operates. Learn more and apply by Sunday, Sept. 13.

SouthWest Transit State Fair and Renaissance Festival Shuttles

Southwest Transit provides all-day shuttle service, seven days a week, from SouthWest Station to both the Minnesota State Fair and Renaissance Festival, including Labor Day. Learn more and buy tickets.

Students on Commissions Orientation

This week our newly appointed student commission members attended orientation to learn more about the City and their roles as student commission members during the 2026-2027 school year. The City's Students on Commissions program gives Eden Prairie students the opportunity to contribute to their community in an official capacity, while gaining valuable insight about municipal government.

Staff News

Nik Jacobson recently joined the City as a recreation specialist at the Senior Center. Before joining the City, Nik worked as a recreation program supervisor with Minnetonka Community Education.
