Sustainable Eden Prairie is an ongoing effort focusing on education and implementation of sustainable practices to protect the environment and natural resources our community enjoys.
Building upon the success of the 20-40-15 initiative, the City is leading by example and providing a foundation for residents and businesses to carry out sustainable practices in four areas — energy, landscape, waste and water.

Eden Prairie is Pollinator Friendly
The Pollinator Friendly Alliance presented the City of Eden Prairie with its 2016 Pollinator Friendly Community award.
At its annual Polli*NATION festival Sept. 11, the Pollinator Friendly Alliance presented the City of Eden Prairie with its 2016 Pollinator Friendly Community award.
The Pollinator Friendly Alliance is a Minnesota non-profit pollinator conservation organization aiming to protect and restore pollinators to improve the environment and sustain the food supply.
The Pollinator Friendly Community award was given to 17 Minnesota communities that have passed pollinator-friendly resolutions and implemented best practices for pollinators.
