The City is working with Hennepin County to develop a new Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan.
The aim of the pedestrian and bicycle improvements recommended in the plan will be to enhance non-motorized mobility and improve community health and livability in Eden Prairie. City and County leaders intend for the final plan to offer specific, practical and implementable recommendations for providing safe, comfortable and convenient facilities that invite people of all ages and abilities to walk and bike as part of their daily travel and routines.
The City and County have been soliciting input from the public since late March with an interactive project website, in addition to Open House events April 7 and May 27, and targeted informal outreach efforts. After conducting an assessment of existing conditions and compiling the public input, City and County leaders will finalize the plan later in 2014.
