Lt. Jen Ficcadenti began her career as an officer in Eden Prairie in 2008. Prior to coming to Eden Prairie, she worked as a park patrol agent for the Minneapolis Park Police and a corrections officer for both the Northwest Minnesota Juvenile facility and Scott County Juvenile Facility.

During her tenure in Eden Prairie, Lt. Ficcadenti has served on the Crime Tech Unit and Domestic Abuse Response Team, and from 2013 to 2018 as a K-9 officer alongside her partner Jace. She was promoted to sergeant in 2018 and worked as a patrol sergeant, Reserve Unit coordinator and K-9 sergeant, and was promoted to lieutenant in June 2021.

Lt. Ficcadenti earned a bachelor's degree in law enforcement from Bemidji State University, where she played Division I hockey. After graduation, she played semi-pro hockey for eight years with the Minnesota Whitecaps.
