Katie's (they/them) functional ceramicwares are a celebration of femininity and classical aesthetics, deeply influenced by their personal journey as a Queer individual. Through the medium of porcelain, they replicate the elaborate patterns of Baroque and Rococo ornamentation. Katie holds degrees in ceramics and art education. Their work has been showed in more than 40 exhibitions in 12 states in the past five years. They were awarded a fellowship from Northern Clay Center in 2022, and completed a short term residency in North Carolina.
