To participate in Open Studio, you must:
- Currently be enrolled in a class or be an approved Open Studio Member AND
- Be 16 years of age or older (minors require guardian consent)
Prerequisites
Must have completed at least one 6+ week Art Center class (or equivalent) in the medium in which they would like to work within the past two years.
If prerequisite is from another center, must complete [Re]Fresh 4-week class at the Art Center and be approved by instructor before obtaining Open Studio membership.
Maintenance
Members must take at least one Art Center 6+ week class in the medium in which they are working OR the [Re]Fresh 4-week class every two years to continue using Open Studio.
Members must adhere to Open Studio Policies listed here and in additional paperwork. Failure to do so may result in loss of membership.
Community
All users share space and equipment. All Open Studio hours depend on studio availability, and are uninstructed and subject to change.
Members must be respectful of staff and facility at all times and continued misuse may result in loss of membership. We are not able to fire pieces on-demand; please do not ask us to put your items in front of others. Continued requests may jeopardize membership. The Art Center does not fire works for makers who sell their art commercially.
