Community Entrepreneurship Program

The Community Entrepreneurship Program is a 10-month, hands-on program for any community member facing economic hardship who has a dream of starting and growing a business, including those who have already started a venture but need help to grow. Scholarships are available for this with financial need.

The program takes place at the Eden Prairie Schools Valley View Campus (11840 Valley View Road) and is offered in conjunction with the University of St. Thomas, the Schulze School of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Center.

Elevate Hennepin^SM

Elevate Hennepin is designed to connect business owners and entrepreneurs to expertise, capital and resources.

New and existing businesses can establish their footing, map out next steps and identify growth opportunities with business resources powered by Hennepin County in collaboration with the City of Eden Prairie and other local partners.

The program provides services at no cost, including:

• Expert consulting in essential business areas, including legal, marketing, strategic planning and operations
• Opportunities to network, connect and grow
• A directory for business owners to find county, state and federal resources, such as grants and lending opportunities

The City’s participation in Elevate Hennepin provides businesses with services to help them succeed, which in turn supports a broader strategy of promoting economic development, creating and retaining jobs, and cultivating entrepreneurs.
