Summer Programming FAQ
Yes, for our summer day camps, we offer a split payment option that allows you to pay 50% at registration and the remaining 50% by June 1. This payment option must be set up prior to registering for summer day camps, and cannot be retroactively applied.
How it works:
- Email us at Parks@edenprairiemn.gov at least 2 business days before registration opens to let us know you would like to enroll in the split payment option for summer camps.
- We'll send you a confirmation that your account has been set up to access split payments, along with instructions on how to process your day camp registrations.
- When registration opens on Wednesday, March 4, you may choose either the pay-in-full or split payment option for each eligible camp. Split payments are available for summer day camps that begin on or after June 1.
- On June 1, the credit card you selected for the split payment will be automatically charged for the remaining 50%, and a receipt will be emailed to you.

You will have 24 hours to accept the spot and complete registration. If the spot is not accepted within the 24-hour window, it will automatically be offered to the next participant on the waitlist.

Miller Park Playground Camp also offers half-day, weeklong options. Mornings run 8:30 a.m.–noon and afternoons 1–4:30 p.m.

If your child requires medication during the camp day or has other health-related needs, please be sure to complete and return the required medical forms prior to camp attendance. Medical forms are available at edenprairiemn.gov/DayCamps, click "Health and Safety."
We strive to support a wide range of needs, and because every child’s situation is different, we encourage you to email InclusionServices@edenprairiemn.gov with the camps you’re considering. A program supervisor will connect with you to discuss the details about your child’s needs.
