Additional Information
- Use caution when entering and enter at your own risk
- Materials must be separated, debagged and unloaded by the resident
- Empty bags (plastic, paper, compostable, biodegradable, etc.) must be taken by users, there are no trash receptacles onsite
- Loads shall be secured into and out of the site to ensure no material is lost in transport; failure of user to secure load can result in the denial of future access
- Users shall not enter restricted areas
- Smoking in the Yard Waste Site is prohibited
- No compost is produced on-site, nor is it available for free pickup. Compost is available for sale at Dakota Prairie Composting in Shakopee.
Dirt, rocks and lumber dropped in the yard waste site can cause serious damage to our equipment. Any loads found containing prohibited material will be rejected and users could be subject to fines, as well as denied future use of this site.
The City has a right to deny service to any users who fail to comply with site guidelines.
