New Video Highlights 2024 Quality of Life Survey Results

At its Tuesday, July 15 workshop, City Council members watched a new video summarizing the 2024 Quality of Life Survey results, which were shared with the community earlier this year. In the video, Mayor Ron Case outlines some of the top takeaways and explains how Eden Prairie stacks up to our comparable cities, highlighting the many ways in which Eden Prairie continues to lead the way. Solar on Fire Station #1

Fire Station #1 (14800 Scenic Heights Road) is now running on solar energy, thanks to a grant from the State of Minnesota’s Solar on Public Buildings (SPB) program. Eden Prairie is one of 18 local governments across the state to receive grants from the program. Later this summer, a second SPB grant-funded solar array will be installed on the Eden Prairie Liquor rooftop at 8018 Den Road. Learn more about the City's sustainability efforts at edenprairie.org/SustainableEP.

Fitness in the Parks

Get outside and join people in the community for free yoga, Zumba, Pilates and more six days a week, all summer long. Full schedule is available at edenprairie.org/FitnessInTheParks.

Monitor Your Water Use with EyeOnWater

The City's residential water meters allow households to use a smart phone or computer to track water consumption and save money on water bills. Use the EyeOnWater mobile app or online portal to track water usage on a customizable dashboard, get alerts for possible leaks and monitor precipitation and temperature to help manage lawn irrigation. Learn more and get started at edenprairie.org/EyeOnWater.

Name That Gummy Contest

Eden Prairie Liquor is launching a new berry-flavored edible made just for Eden Prairie, and they need you to help name it. Find contest guidelines and submit your name idea by Tuesday, July 29 at edenprairie.org/NameThatGummy.
