Winning photos will be featured in the City's quarterly newsletter, Life in the Prairie, and posted to the City’s website and social media accounts.

The photo with the most “likes” will win first place, followed by second and third place.

• You must be an Eden Prairie resident to enter
• Each contestant can only enter one photo
• All photos must be taken in Eden Prairie
• Contestants ages 17 and younger are required to obtain parent/guardian permission
• By submitting a photo, participants agree the photograph is their own original work, of which they are granting ownership to the City of Eden Prairie. All submissions become the property of the City of Eden Prairie, viable for use, editing and distribution by the City and for the City.
• Entries promoting local businesses will not be accepted, nor will entries which are highly altered or edited
• City of Eden Prairie employees are not allowed to participate
• The following photographs will not be accepted:
  • Photos taken outside of Eden Prairie
  • Photos bearing watermarks or professional logos

• Photos must be submitted in JPEG or PNG format
• Photo size cannot exceed 10 MB
• Photos must be submitted between Monday, Sept. 8 and Friday, Sept. 19, 2025

• All entries will be narrowed down to top finalists by City staff. Finalists will be judged on  a variety of elements, including composition, lighting and degree of difficulty
• Finalists will be posted to the City's Facebook page where voting will take place Wednesday, Sept. 24–Wednesday, Oct. 1
• The photo with the most “likes” by noon Wednesday, Oct. 1, will win first place, followed by second and third place
• Winners will be announced on social media after voting ends
