• Click “Browse City Docs” below the search bar on the home page
• Click a folder to open other folders or records within that folder
• Continue opening folders until you find the record you are looking for

Packets, minutes, ordinances and resolutions are presented by type (if applicable), then by year.

Example
Searching for City Council minutes for the Feb. 21, 2006, meeting:

Click on Minutes > City Council > 2000s > 2006. Click on the document listed for that date to open and view it.

After you have located the document, click on the “Print (as PDF)” button, which is a printer icon that is shown above the document. This will open the document as a PDF, which you can print, save or email.

If a document doesn't open as a PDF, be sure your browser is enabled to "accept pop-ups."

Type a phrase in the Search Box to perform a simple quick search.

This method searches OCR text, entry Names, Fields and Annotations without the need for opening the Search Pane.

• From the Home Page, click on “Browse City Docs” below the search bar
• To search the Entire Repository, enter the search criteria in the Search box with All Folders selected from the drop-down; then click on the green magnifying glass and wait for results
• To search within a folder, first navigate to the folder you would like to search within, then enter the search criteria in the Search box with Current Folder selected from the drop-down; then click on the green magnifying glass and wait for results

Once the results appear click on the page number or document(s) listed. The search terms will appear highlighted in blue within the document.

Note: Use double quotes (“ “) around words to search for those exact words only.

Example
Search for all Council Packets from the years 2010–2019:

Click on Packets > City Council > 2010s

Enter the Search Criteria in the search box with “Within Folder” selected from the drop-down; click on the green magnifying glass and wait for results.

The Search Pane provides more options for searching City Docs than the Quick Search.

• From the Home Page, click on Search at the top left of the screen to open Search Pane; alternatively, you can select the “advanced” button next to the search bar at the top of the screen when browsing records
• Select the search type(s) — Text, Within Folder, etc. — from the Customize Search drop-down list you would like to search by; search types can be combined to refine search results
• Ignore the Records Management drop-down
• Enter information required and click Submit.

Note: For a TEXT Search use double quotes (“ “) around words to search for those exact words only.
