On Saturday, March 17 at 1:41 a.m., Eden Prairie Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Super America (6355 Point Chase Road).
Upon arrival, Officers learned that two suspects entered the store displaying weapons and demanded money from an employee. One of the two suspects discharged a firearm inside the store. Both suspects fled on foot, taking an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, before officers arrived.
At the time of the robbery, there were no customers inside the gas station and there were no injuries.
Officers attempted to locate the suspects with the help of K-9 units from the Plymouth and New Hope Police Departments, and with the assistance of a Minnesota State Patrol helicopter.
Police are asking for assistance from anyone able to identify the suspects, or who may have seen anything suspicious in the area, around the time the robbery took place.
The suspects (pictured), described as adult males approximately 20 years old, were wearing ski masks, hooded sweatshirts, and dark colored jackets or sweaters.
