City Commission Recruitment

The City Council values the input of residents and provides opportunities for participation through six advisory commissions. Eden Prairie residents are invited to learn more and apply for these commissions online at edenprairie.org/Commissions. Application deadline is Monday, Feb. 3.

City Government Academy

Eden Prairie's City Government Academy is a free, six-week program offering Eden Prairie residents a behind-the-scenes look at how their city operates. Beginning Wednesday, April 22, a different department is spotlighted each week to give participants a chance to tour City facilities, meet City staff and learn more about municipal government. Residents are encouraged to learn more and apply online at edenprairie.org/EPCityAcademy. Application deadline is Friday, March 6.

Outdoor Skating Rinks

Outdoor skating rinks and warming houses are open, with the exception of Staring Lake Park due to poor ice conditions. Visit edenprairie.org/SkatingRinks for more information, locations and hours of operation. 

Winter Blast

Come embrace the north at Winter Blast Saturday, Jan. 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Staring Lake Park. Meet Frozen princesses Elsa and Anna, watch the WonderWeavers puppet show, ice skate, sled, kick-sled, snowshoe, enjoy art activities and visit food trucks.
