FAQs
How can I cancel my reservation if I can’t make it to class?
- In the “My Reservation” section of the schedule, find the class you’d like to cancel, click the blue dots, select “Cancel reservation.”
- On the online schedule, find the class you’d like to cancel, click the gray “Signed Up” button, then click the blue “Cancel Reservation” link.
- Call the Community Center front desk at 952-949-8470.
The reservation system closes 1 hour before class starts, so I can’t cancel my reservation via the schedule, what should I do?
Call the Community Center front desk at 952-949-8470.
If we know you aren’t going to attend, we will know how many spots are available in case a waitlister shows up in the hopes of a cancellation.
What happens if I no-show multiple times?
Consistent no shows will lead to automatically being dropped from future reservations with a waitlist.
I attended class, why was I marked as a no-show?
When you arrive and scan your membership card, let the front desk staff know your name and which class you’re attending so they can check you off the roster (if they are too busy when you arrive, stop by on your way out after class). In class, the instructor will take attendance. We compare the front desk’s roster and the instructor’s roster before adding a name to the no-show list. A no-show email indicates you were not checked off either roster.
How can I check to see if I have been moved from the waitlist to the “in” list?
Visit the “My Reservations” section of the schedule. If you are in the class, you will see a green checkmark and the words “1 reserved.” If you are still on the waitlist, you will see a purple clock and the words “waitlisted #” with the number you are in the waitlist. We see a lot of waitlist movement, and there is a strong chance you will be moved into the class.
What if I get moved off the waitlist overnight and the class I’m waitlisted for is at 6 a.m.?
If you know you won’t make it to class, whether you get moved in from the waitlist or not, we recommend canceling your reservation anyway. This is especially important for early morning classes.
