City Council Town Hall Meetings
This past Wednesday the City Council kicked off a series of town hall meetings with events at Summit Place and Flagstone Senior Living.
The next event is a Business Town Hall Meeting in collaboration with the Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4 at STAR Bank, 250 Prairie Center Drive. This free event is an informal opportunity to discuss issues impacting businesses, and share your thoughts and ideas on future business opportunities in Eden Prairie.
The final event is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Town Hall Meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24 at the Eden Prairie Library, 565 Prairie Center Drive. Earlier this year, the City Council reviewed and accepted the City’s Race Equity Report [PDF], which outlines recommendations to make Eden Prairie a more equitable and inclusive community. As part of the this initiative, Council members want to hear from the community, especially residents from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds, about their experiences living in Eden Prairie.
