Prescribed Prairie Burns
City parks and natural resources staff, with assistance from the Fire Department, are conducting prescribed prairie burns through May. Burns are expected to last one to three hours, dependent upon weather conditions. City staff will monitor weather conditions closely in coordination with the DNR Wildfire program to determine ideal conditions.
