The GIVE Gathering
The GIVE Gathering is a volunteer fair sponsored by the City of Eden Prairie, Eden Prairie Community Foundation, and Eden Prairie Community Education. Learn about volunteer opportunities at more than 40 organizations that serve the Eden Prairie community. As these organizations share their volunteer needs, you are sure to find one that’s a great fit for you. The event takes place Thursday, April 19, from 6-8 p.m in the Heritage Rooms of the City Center. This free event is open for all ages; all are welcome to attend. No RSVP or registration is needed.

Mayor’s Water Conservation Pledge
Mayor Nancy Tyra-Lukens has once again challenged Eden Prairie residents to commit to conserve water and cut pollution by participating in the "Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation." Throughout the month of April, the Mayor hopes to inspire City residents to make online pledges at mywaterpledge.com on behalf of Eden Prairie. This free online contest is a friendly competition between residents of cities across the nation to see who can be the most “water-wise.” By making the pledge, participants promise to follow a series of conservation measures for their homes, yards and cars, such as washing only full loads of laundry, fixing leaky faucets, and walking or biking short distances.

Heritage Preservation Award
The City of Eden Prairie's Heritage Preservation Commission is accepting nominations for the Heritage Preservation Award. The goal of the Heritage Preservation Award is to recognize an individual, family or business who has made an outstanding contribution to the preservation, rehabilitation, restoration and use of Eden Prairie's heritage resources. The deadline to submit a nomination is 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 13. Visit edenprairie.org/HeritageAward for additional details and an application.
