Firefighter Relief Association Pension
Every Duty Crew member of the Eden Prairie Fire Department is eligible for membership in the Eden Prairie Firefighter Relief Association, which provides a benefit of $15,000 per year after a minimum of 10 years of service.
Example of Retirement Benefits
10 years of service — $560 per month or $150,000 lump sum
15 years of service — $840 per month or $225,000 lump sum
20 years of service — $1,120 per month or $300,000
If eligible, retirement benefits can start no earlier than 50 years of age. Other benefits include disability, and survivor benefits for spouses and family members. Contact the Fire Relief Association with questions.
