Entertainment Series Applications

Interested in performing in Eden Prairie's summer concert series and Citywide events?

Interest forms are available during the fall season before the next concert season. Decisions are made in January and February and each applicant will receive a response once selections have been made.

Applications for the 2026 season have closed.

The City of Eden Prairie coordinates several events each year to help bring our community together.

From music and theater to recreational events for the whole family, our gatherings give every member of the community a reason to celebrate.

Spring Events

Arbor Day Celebration

Celebrate Eden Prairie’s designation as a “Tree City USA” with a variety of eco-friendly vendors and children's activities.

Art Center Open House for Youth

Each spring, the Art Center hosts this event for youth to explore the facilities, learn about upcoming classes, view teacher demonstrations and participate in hands-on projects.

Park Clean-Up Day

Park Clean-Up Day is typically in April and is a great opportunity for service organizations, youth organizations and neighborhood groups to do their part in keeping Eden Prairie’s parks and trail systems clean.

Summer Events

4th of July Hometown Celebration (July 3–4)

It’s a “Hometown Celebration” with a variety of activities, live entertainment and concessions spread over two days at Round Lake Park to commemorate our country’s independence. This two-day event culminates the evening of July 4 with an impressive fireworks display.

Arts in the Park

A daylong art fair at Purgatory Creek Park, featuring artwork, homemade beauty products, unique clothing and more for sale by local and regional artisans. The event includes entertainment, activities for kids, food vendors and wine/beer tastings.

Children’s Summer Theatre Workshop

The Eden Prairie Players presents an annual summer theater workshop for kids, followed by five performances at the Riley-Jacques Barn in August.

KidStock Concert Series

An eight-week series of musical performances for kids at the Staring Lake Amphitheatre.

Minnesota Festival of Jazz on the Prairie

Six area big bands perform at the Staring Lake Amphitheatre on a Sunday in June, in partnership with the Eden Prairie Noon Rotary offering mouthwatering BBQ ribs. The festival finale is Eden Prairie's Jazz on the Prairie Big Band.

Movies in the Park

See a free movie under the stars! Three movie nights take place at the Staring Lake Amphitheatre in August. Family friendly entertainment starts at 7:30 p.m. each night before the movie.

PeopleFest! A Community Celebration of Culture

A series of community events to celebrate the unique cultures represented in Eden Prairie. This community celebration of culture includes music, dance, storytelling, visual art, food and more.

Senior Center BBQ

A picnic meal and live entertainment at the Senior Center make this an event to remember for area seniors in August each year.

Senior Center Garden Party

Live music, refreshments and friends make this annual June event at the Senior Center a great time for area seniors.

Senior Center Golf Classic

This is a great opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of fresh air and fun with friends. This event features a "Best Ball" format and is open to foursomes, pairs or individuals looking to be paired up.

Starring at Staring Concert Series

A variety of live musical entertainment each summer at the Staring Lake Amphitheatre. The concert series features performances every Sunday, Thursday and Friday evening, June through August.

Summer Musical

The Eden Prairie Players presents a popular summer musical at Staring Lake Amphitheatre each summer. Seven performances in June.

Women's One Acts+

The Eden Prairie Players presents one-act plays written and directed by women. Performances are at the Riley-Jacques Barn.

Fall Events

A Collection of One Acts

The Eden Prairie Players presents one-act plays at the Riley-Jacques Barn. This annual fall event includes seven performances with light refreshments served 30 minutes prior to the start of the production and during intermission.

Citywide Open House

Residents get an up-close and personal look at what it takes to operate a city of nearly 65,000 residents and 3,000 businesses. Highlights may include exhibits, demonstrations, City vehicles and equipment, and more.

Fall Lunch at the Senior Center

Food, fun and fellowship make this annual Senior Center event a good time — typically takes place in October.

Harvest to Halloween

In October, this free event for the whole family offers activities for all ages, such as a trick-or-treat trail, llama petting zoo and pumpkin painting.

Senior Center Veterans Breakfast

Celebrate and honor the veterans who have served our country. All are welcome to this fully-catered breakfast with guest speaker, held at the Senior Center.

Winter Events

Annual Ice Show

Join friends at the Community Center for a chance to see local skaters perform in familiar favorites. Presented by the Eden Prairie Figure Skating Club.

Art Center Open House for Adults

Each December, the Art Center hosts this open house for attendees to learn about adult classes, workshops and membership to our Open Studio program. Enjoy hands-on projects, demonstrations, artwork giveaways and a mini-holiday market!

Holiday Lunch at the Senior Center

This annual celebration gives area seniors a chance to socialize and enjoy a traditional holiday meal at the Senior Center each December.

Senior Center Valentine Breakfast

Seniors enjoy a catered meal and a chance to converse with friends each Valentine’s Day at the Senior Center.

Share the Warmth Holiday Band Concert

An opportunity to give back by bringing a non-perishable food item or warm article of clothing to this events featuring the Eden Prairie Community Band.

Winter Blast

Annual event celebrating winter at Staring Lake Park in January. Outdoor activities for all ages include ice skating, sledding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and horse-drawn carriage rides. Event features a bonfire and refreshments for sale.

Winter Community Theater

An annual Eden Prairie Players production.
