Mayor's Water Challenge
At last week's meeting, the City Council passed a resolution in support of the National Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation. The City has been participating in the challenge since its inception in 2012. It's a friendly competition between cities across the US and provides residents opportunities to make water-friendly lifestyle changes. Residents can visit MyWaterPledge.com and pledge to repair leaky faucets, power down to save electricity, turn off sprinklers when it rains and other water-friendly measures for a chance to win eco-friendly prizes, now through April 30.
