Memorial Day Ceremony
Join friends and neighbors for a special Memorial Day ceremony from 11 a.m. to noon Monday, May 26 at the Veterans Memorial in Purgatory Creek Park. The event honors those who have served our country and includes patriotic music performances. This year’s event features keynote speaker Mary Johnson, an active member of Blue Stars Mothers of America, a national organization of mothers supporting active-duty service members, veterans and each other.
Schooner Days
The Eden Prairie Lions Club annual Schooner Days is May 30–June 1 at Round Lake Park. This year's event features a variety of new food trucks and vendors, and free vision screenings by Lions KidSight USA for children from 6 months through 16 years. Along with a vendor marketplace, there will also be carnival rides and activities for all ages, games, bingo and pull tabs in the beer garden. Visit EPSchoonerDays.com for details.
Lawn Watering Restrictions
This summer, please follow the City's lawn watering schedule to ensure there is enough water for all uses, including vital services such as fighting fires. If your address ends with an odd number, you can water on odd-numbered days of the month. If your address ends in an even number, you can water on even-numbered days of the month. No lawn watering is allowed between the hours of noon and 5 p.m., even if you have an exemption for new sod or landscaping. More information about Eden Prairie’s water use restrictions and lawn watering tips are available at edenprairie.org/LawnWatering.
