Holiday Light Recycling

Recycle Your Holiday™ is a statewide holiday light recycling program. Residents can drop off unwanted light strands at any Eden Prairie Liquor location until Jan. 5, 2020.

Outdoor Ice Rinks
Warming houses and ice skating rinks continue to be prepared for the winter season with the anticipated opening of mid to late next week, depending on the weather. Visit edenprairie.org/SkatingRinks for more information, locations and hours of operation.

Eden Prairie Liquor Operations Manager Jaime Urbina talks about his history working in retail, why the City is in the liquor business, popular holiday spirits, and upcoming promotions and events. Watershed Citizen's Advisory Committee
The Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District is seeking applications to its 2020-2021 Citizen's Advisory Committee. This is a volunteer position, appointed by the Board, supporting its mission to protect, manage and restore water resources. Applications must be received by 4 p.m. Dec. 30, 2019.

Hennepin County Citizen Advisory Board Vacancies
Hennepin County Board is recruiting for 25 citizen advisory board positions through its annual open appointment process. Appointees advise the County Board on a variety of issues, such as mental health, our region's workforce, libraries, water quality and more. Apply by Dec. 31, 2019, at hennepin.us/AdvisoryBoards. The board will conduct interviews beginning January 2020.

Staff News
Riley Lundeen recently joined the City as a building inspections technician. Before working for the City, Riley worked in marketing at Mystic Lake Casino. She earned a bachelors in business administration from Winona State University. 

Devin Daye recently joined the City as deputy city clerk. Before working for the City, Devin worked with the City of Minneapolis Elections and Voter Services. He earned a bachelors degree in political science from Augsburg University.
